Communications
The goals and objectives of the communications committee are to develop a cohesive branded message in tandem with ISES International Headquarters by disseminating information locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. These goals and objectives are accomplished through the utilization of tools such as the ISES Greater Chicago Web site, newsletter, e-mail and various other media outlets. The committee is also charged with reaching as many current and prospective industry members with informative and timely information and news with regard to the ISES Greater Chicago Chapter and the special events industry.
The membership committee attracts new members, helps to maintain the membership database of current and prospective members for an organization, keeps all membership materials current, and oversees membership renewal efforts. The committee is the first contact for new members and is available to answer questions with regard to chapter meetings benefits and services. Membership also sends welcome packets to new members, maintains member records and administers new member orientation during chapter meetings. The committee works to increase overall membership growth, membership diversity, meeting and event attendance and chapter participation through a variety of member benefits, programs, services and activities.
The programs and education committee works to develop programs that contain educational and networking opportunities for ISES Chicago members. The committee develops, directs and plans education programs and monthly meetings, workshops, and seminars. In addition, programs and education is responsible for implementing the CSEP certification program by providing information and coordinating study groups. This committee also works with venues and partners with suppliers and sponsors on programs.

The Member Forum is a great tool to communicate with other ISES members about hot topics, business practices, risk management and many more issues affecting the Special Events industry.
